Dr. Hollis has had a diverse background. She has spent time working in primary care as well as urgent care and utilization management. She devotes a lot of her time now taking care of our veterans in the outpatient setting. However, she has always had a special interest in substance abuse treatment and mental health. She recognizes that attention to health care needs often lapses in the setting of substance abuse. She is a strong proponent of a team based approach to treatment. She also believes that medication isn’t always the answer and that applying other modalities to recovery and treatment of mental illness and substance abuse are extremely valuable.
