Addiction Treatment in Western Pennsylvania

Silvermist Brings On New Executive Director

The substance abuse and mental health treatment team at Silvermist gained a fresh face recently with the addition of Chad Husted, LPC as executive director. A native of eastern Pennsylvania, Husted began overseeing operations on Aug. 1 and joins an established team of licensed and credentialed treatment specialists and administrative staff.

As a licensed professional counselor, Husted has extensive experience in behavioral health. He spent the last 15 years offering outpatient, intensive outpatient and residential care, and his specialties include treatment, business development and operations. Husted’s background in all levels of care has allowed him to develop a thorough understanding of the challenges and nuances of clinical care in an addiction treatment setting.

“I’m really excited to be a part of Silvermist,” said Husted. “The setting is serene; the facilities are fantastic.” Husted wants to develop Silvermist from a regional powerhouse to a national presence, refining the organization’s focus to fully treat the whole person, not just the symptoms of their disorder.

“We are going to continue to develop our services to provide each client with an individualized plan for recovery,” Husted said. “Silvermist is the perfect environment and size—20 beds—to provide clients with meaningful and individualized care.”

Located in beautiful rural Pennsylvania, Silvermist offers individualized treatment for substance use and mental health disorders. Silvermist sets the standard for addiction treatment on the East Coast by providing men and women a beautiful and discreet environment filled with all the amenities that support early recovery. Silvermist is grounded in the highest clinical standards and is committed to clinical integrity, community and education. For more information about Silvermist or any of its programs, please call (724) 268-4858.
