Standing Beside Those Who Served

Across Pennsylvania, veterans continue to face challenges long after returning home. At Silvermist, we understand that the invisible wounds of trauma, stress, and substance use often follow even the bravest men and women who have served. Project Resilience, our veteran service line available in both the Poconos (for women) and Western Pennsylvania (for men) offers safe, structured environments where healing and purpose come together.

No veteran should walk the path of recovery alone. Project Resilience at Silvermist provides compassionate care tailored to the unique experiences of each service member who steps through our doors.

Coming Home to Recovery

The transition from military to civilian life can be filled with uncertainty, isolation or strain on family relationships. At Project Resilience, we help veterans rebuild those essential connections — to themselves, to their loved ones and to their sense of purpose.

In the Poconos, our women’s program fosters emotional safety and empowerment, helping women veterans find stability in recovery while addressing trauma and co-occurring mental health needs. In Western Pennsylvania, our men’s program emphasizes discipline, accountability and brotherhood, providing the structure and support veterans need to reclaim control of their lives.

Rebuilding Strength and Purpose

Service members are trained to prioritize mission and team above self — a mindset that can make seeking help feel like a challenge. At Project Resilience, we recognize that asking for support is one of the bravest steps a veteran can take.

Our trauma-informed, evidence-based approach combines therapies such as EMDR, CBT and peer support to help veterans process experiences from their time in service. Whether in our women’s or men’s program, clients learn to transform resilience into long-term recovery, embracing a renewed sense of identity and purpose.

Programs and Therapies for Veterans
